Peer Review Process

In the review process, ISSJ Journal involves writers, editors, section editors, and reviewers. In the review process, ISSJ Journal applies the Double Blind Peer Review model to maintain confidentiality. Every submitted manuscript is checked first by the editor. If the article meets the focus and scope and the ISSJ Journal writing guidelines, then the document is sent to the reviewer for review of the content and novelty of the manuscript. Otherwise, the manuscript will be returned to the author. A minimum of 2 reviewers will review each document for approximately 1-2 weeks, with the criteria for assessing the manuscript as stated in the Article Assessment Form for Reviewers.
