Diarrhea remains a public health problem associated with hygiene behavior, community knowledge, and environmental sanitation conditions. Karang Mulya Village, Kasemen District, Serang City, Banten Province, faces several risk factors related to diarrhea occurrence, including suboptimal implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), inconsistent Handwashing with Soap (HWWS) practices, and inadequate environmental sanitation management. This community service activity aimed to improve community knowledge, awareness, and skills in preventing diarrhea through community-based health education. The implementation method applied a community empowerment approach consisting of problem identification, activity planning, health education sessions, handwashing demonstrations, interactive discussions, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test assessments. The activity involved 30 participants consisting of housewives, health cadres, community leaders, and family representatives. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of diarrhea causes, transmission mechanisms, risk factors, and prevention strategies. Community-based health education can serve as an effective promotive and preventive strategy to strengthen PHBS implementation and enhance community capacity in controlling diarrhea risk factors sustainably
